THIF-502 Water Resolvable Quenchants

  • Introduction:
    Our quenchants is a kind of transparent liquor to which we add several addictives which would play important roles in rust-proof, decay-proof, wetness, sterilization, etc. The color of our quencher varies from achromaticity to buff. Whats more, it has overcome many disadvantages of water-cooling and oil-cooling methods. For water cooling method, if we use water for cooling, then the speed is too fast and the workpieces are easy to fission; for oil-cooling method, the shortcomings show in some aspects including the slow speed of cooling, the inferior effect of quenching and easy fuming and burning.
  • Properties:
    1. We can adjust its cooling ability in a large range by adjusting the thickness of the water liquor and receive different cooling speeds which is close to water or between water and oil, or almost equal to oil, even more slower than oil. Therefore, they can satisfy all kinds of quenching requirements for different materials and workpieces.
    2. The quenchants is of no poison, no oil smoke. Also, there is no burning, no danger of fire. You can use it safely to improve the working environment without pollution.
    3. The advantages of deeper quenching and symmetrical rigidity and no soft spot greatly reduce the trend of quenching transmutation and crack, especially fit for the quench of low and medium carbon steel and big workpieces.
    4. It has no rusting effect on black and color metal. After using it, workpieces are lucent and at the same time, the quenchants can resist rusting for a short time. It can be bring back to fire without washing procedure.
    5. The quenchants can be use for a long time and is not easy to aging and metamorphosing.
    6. When the workpieces are brought out of the quenchants, the quenchants which stick on the qworkpieces is little. So the using cost is low and the general economy is good.

  • Applicable Scope
    THIF-502 water-resolvable quenchants can be used in forging and founding steel, founding iron and also the quenching of punching workpieces. The applicable scope is fit for uncorked quenching trough, continuous stove, multi-used stove and inductive stove designed out of the quenching trough, etc.
    1.Forging Steel: THIF-502 water-resolvable quenchants can be used both in low quenching forging steel and in high quenching alloy forging steel , the weight of which varies from one kilogram to several tons. The consistence (beween 10% and 30%) of the quenchchants should be change with the differences of alloy.
    2.Founding Steel: As the same with forging steel, we can use THIF-502 water-resolvable quenchants in low quenching founding steel and alloy steel, the weight of the steel and alloy is greatly different. The consistence (between 10% and 30%) of the quenchants change according with the differences of the founding workpieces.
    3.Founding Iron: we usually use 20%--30% consistence of the THIF-502 water-resolvable quenchants in founding ballblack cast iron founding iron and forgeable iron.
    4.Inductive quenching: for gear, mandrel, bulgy axle, axletree, and wheelneck, we usually use flame or inductive quenching. THIF-502 is the most perfect substitute of quenching oil, and it can absolutely eliminate oil smoke and the hidden trouble of fire.
    The above is only the applicable scope for THIF-502 water-resolvable quenchants.   • Attention
    1. consistence controlment: With the increasing of the consistence of THIF-502 water-resolvable quenchants in water, the cooling ability decrease distinctly. To keep the required rigidity and to avoid quenching crack after quenching the workpieces, the liquid consistence of the original liquid of THIF-502 water-resolvable quenchants must be stabilized in certain scope. In the work locale, we can use refraction instrument to control the consistence of THIF-502 water-resolvable quenchants We can receive the consistence numerical value of the new confected THIF-502 water liquid by using refraction rate multiply 2.5. In the process of using the quenchants, the refraction numerical value can be influenced by the pollution of system. The increasing temperature before and after quenching of the trough liquid should not be higher than 10℃. The best way is to collocate the whole set of cooling and cycle radiator, for instance, in winter, if the room temperature is too lower, then before quenching you should consider to heat up the trough liquor or properly increase the consistence.
    The maintenance of the liquid
    1. To achieve the target of prolong the using life of the liquid, when using it, you should pay attention to appropriately whisk the liquid. Reasonable whisk can keep the capability of the liquid stable. Usually, we use pump or windstick to whisk the liquid. When using pump to whisk the liquid, the flowing speed should be one meter per second, and you should pay attention to avoid air coming into the liquor; when using windstick to whisk the liquid, the rotating speed should be 100-450. Regularly whisking the liquor can avoid the creation of mildew and also make the smack of mildew which had created die after meeting lights. The other way of avoiding mildew is adding proper quantity antiseptic in the medium (eg. Sodium benzoate )
    2. The using time limit should be decided according to the industrial condition and the maintaining cleanness condition. Practice shows that those eligible products which has detected before coming out of the factory, should be used in two years.; if it has been over the limited time, the products should be detected again and after doing this, and justify that the liquid is still can be used, then you can use it.
    3. THIF-502 water-resolvable quenchants doesn’t congeal accordingly with the cold weather in winter. If the liquor is placed in out door in winter, then you should roll the bucket for several times to keep the liquid being mixed symmetrically before using it.
  • Package
    THIF-502 water-resolvable quenchants is packed with 208 litres iron bucket or plastic bucket. The net weight of each bucket is 200 kilograms.
